Silent suffering: study probes hidden pain in kids with arthritis

NCT ID NCT03740347

Summary

This study aimed to learn how common chronic pain is in teenagers with juvenile idiopathic arthritis, especially when their disease is not very active. Researchers planned to survey teens aged 12-17 to measure their pain levels and see how it impacts their daily life, sleep, mood, and school. The goal was to gather information to better understand this often-overlooked problem, but the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
