Summary

This observational study will follow 90,000 people in China, including those with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and those at risk, to track how the disease develops and worsens over time. Researchers will collect real-world data to better understand CKD and improve prevention strategies. No treatments or drugs are being tested.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to
If successful, this study could provide valuable insights to improve prevention and management of chronic kidney disease in China.
What could go wrong
This is an observational registry, not a treatment trial. It will not test any new drug or therapy, so it cannot directly lead to a cure or treatment.
