NCT ID NCT07171398
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looked at how chronic ankle instability (CAI) affects athletic performance. Researchers compared 16 athletes with CAI to 16 healthy athletes using tests like jumps and agility drills. They found that those with CAI jumped lower, hopped shorter distances, and were slower in agility tests. The results show that CAI can limit explosive and multidirectional movements, which are important in sports like basketball and soccer.
