Summary
This study is testing whether lowering cholesterol with specific medications can improve blood vessel health and reduce inflammation in people with Type 1 Diabetes. Researchers will follow 125 participants for 1-2 months while they receive weekly injections and daily pills to lower cholesterol. The goal is to understand if these cholesterol treatments can help control diabetes-related heart risks beyond just lowering cholesterol numbers.
