First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looks at whether joining a community choir for 12 weeks can improve communication and quality of life for people who have long-term language problems (aphasia) after a stroke. About 50 participants will either attend weekly choir sessions or receive their usual care. The goal is to see if singing together helps with speaking, confidence, and social connection.
