Spine adjustments tested as fatigue fix for cancer survivors

NCT ID NCT07300319

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This pilot study explores whether chiropractic adjustments to the upper neck can reduce chronic fatigue in adults who have finished cancer treatment. About 40 cancer survivors who are currently cancer-free will receive either immediate or delayed chiropractic care for 6 to 12 weeks. The main goal is to see if the study procedures are practical and acceptable, not to prove the treatment works.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

chiropractic care (upper cervical spine adjustments)

What this could lead to

If it works, this could point toward a non-drug way to manage chronic fatigue in cancer survivors.

What could go wrong

This is a very small pilot trial (40 people) that is currently suspended, so results may not be reliable or generalizable. It only tests feasibility, not effectiveness.
