Summary
This large international project aims to test community-based programs designed to prevent childhood obesity. It will involve 36,000 children aged 6-13 in disadvantaged areas of six countries. The programs will promote healthy eating and physical activity, and researchers will measure if they help children maintain a healthier weight over two years.
