Simple position change could prevent breathing crises in kids after surgery

NCT ID NCT07231887

Summary

This study aims to see if placing children on their side or semi-stomach after tonsil and adenoid surgery helps them breathe better as they wake from anesthesia. It will compare these positions to lying flat on the back, which carries a higher risk of low oxygen levels. The goal is to find the safest recovery position to reduce breathing complications for children with sleep apnea.
