Calming kids before surgery: new nasal spray study

NCT ID NCT06853431

Summary

This study aims to find the best dose of a two-drug nasal spray to safely calm young children (ages 1-6) before they go into surgery. Researchers want to see how quickly the spray works, how well it helps during procedures like getting an IV, and if it helps children wake up more calmly after surgery. The goal is to reduce preoperative anxiety and make the overall experience better for children and their families.
