Scientists launch major hunt for clues in mysterious childhood liver disease

Summary
This study aims to better understand primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), a rare disease that scars the liver's bile ducts. Researchers will observe 1,000 children and young adults (ages 2-25) who already have PSC, collecting health information, images, and samples over time. The goal is to learn how the disease progresses, what factors make it worse, and how it impacts a child's daily life and health.
