First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests a simple, family-centered approach to help children aged 5-10 feel more comfortable in the pediatric intensive care unit. The intervention includes listening to their mother's voice, adjusting room lights, and using a weighted blanket, along with standard care. Researchers will measure children's comfort, anxiety, fear, and sleep, as well as parents' anxiety and satisfaction. The goal is to see if these small changes can make a big difference in a stressful hospital setting.
