Summary
This study aimed to understand why some young children develop more severe cavities than others. Researchers examined 298 children under age 6 with early tooth decay and surveyed their parents about family habits, knowledge, and background. The goal was to identify different profiles of children with cavities and the factors linked to worse dental health.
