Healthy teachers, healthy kids: new program aims to fight childhood obesity at its roots
NCT ID NCT05656807
Summary
This study is testing if an online program that helps child care providers manage their own weight and health can lead to better eating and more physical activity for the 2-5-year-old children in their care. Researchers will work with 84 child care centers, comparing a standard healthy environment program to an enhanced version that also includes a weight management program for teachers. The goal is to see if healthier providers create a healthier environment for young children, potentially preventing early childhood obesity.
