New hope for young brain cancer patients: trial tests powerful drug combo
NCT ID NCT06413706
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a drug called abemaciclib to standard chemotherapy (temozolomide) works better for controlling aggressive brain tumors in children and young adults who have just finished radiation. About 45 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard chemo alone or the new combination. The main goal is to see if the combination helps patients live longer without their cancer getting worse.
