Can better training help doctors stop child abuse?

NCT ID NCT05490121

Summary

This study tested whether a new educational program called VEGA is a practical and acceptable way to train medical residents. The goal was to see if the training improves doctors' ability to recognize and properly respond to child abuse and domestic violence. Researchers compared two ways of delivering the training—a self-guided online course versus a live, instructor-led workshop—to see which method works better for future, larger studies.
