Doctors test if chemo slows rare 'Jelly Belly' cancer

Summary

This study aims to find out if standard chemotherapy drugs can help control the growth of a rare type of appendix cancer that spreads inside the abdomen. It will enroll 30 patients who are not candidates for complete surgery. Each participant will spend 6 months receiving chemotherapy and 6 months under observation, in a random order, to compare tumor growth rates and quality of life during each period.
