Summary

This study aimed to understand the immediate effects of chemotherapy on sperm DNA in men with cancer. Researchers collected and compared semen samples from 200 men before they started chemotherapy and again shortly after their first treatment cycle. The goal was to gather knowledge to help guide future fertility preservation options for men who start chemotherapy before they can bank their sperm.
