Could chemotherapy boost survival in early uterine cancer?

NCT ID NCT01244789

First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving chemotherapy after surgery can help people with early-stage (stage 1 or 2) endometrial cancer who have a medium or high chance of the cancer coming back. About 244 participants who had their cancer removed and whose lymph nodes were cancer-free are being randomly assigned to receive either chemotherapy or just regular check-ups. The goal is to see if chemo improves overall survival compared to observation alone.
