New combo therapy aims to shrink lung tumors before surgery

Summary
This study tests whether adding immunotherapy to standard chemotherapy before surgery helps eliminate more tumor tissue in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer. About 90 participants will receive either chemo-immunotherapy or chemotherapy alone before surgery. The main goal is to see if the combination leads to a complete disappearance of cancer in the lung and lymph nodes.
