New combo before colon cancer surgery shows promise

Summary
This study tests giving chemotherapy plus an immunotherapy drug before surgery for locally advanced colon cancer. The goal is to see if this approach can completely eliminate the tumor before the operation and improve long-term survival. About 56 adults with a specific type of colon cancer will receive the treatment and then have standard surgery.
