First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This early study looked at how safe and effective a combination of two chemotherapy drugs (cytarabine and daunorubicin) is for adults newly diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The main goal was to see if the treatment caused heart problems, using MRI scans to monitor heart function. Forty participants were enrolled to test the approach and check for side effects.
