First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tested a two-drug chemotherapy combination (carboplatin and nab-paclitaxel) given before surgery to people with locally advanced or inflammatory triple negative breast cancer. The goal was to see if this approach could shrink tumors enough to improve the chances of a complete response after surgery. The trial involved 67 participants and measured how many had no cancer remaining at the time of surgery.
