New chemo combo before surgery aims to stop prostate cancer spread

Summary
This study tests giving chemotherapy before surgery to men with high-risk prostate cancer. The goal is to see if this approach helps keep the cancer from coming back for at least 5 years. About 300 men aged 40-75 with early-stage but high-risk prostate cancer will receive one of four chemo drugs, then have surgery. The study is currently recruiting.
