New study aims to uncover hidden liver risks of immunotherapy drugs

Summary

This study looks at liver injury caused by checkpoint inhibitor drugs used in cancer treatment. Researchers will follow 160 people to find out how common this side effect is and what makes some people more likely to get it. They will also test blood samples for new markers that could help diagnose the condition earlier and more accurately.
