Texting for quitting: can a chatbot help youth kick the habit?
NCT ID NCT06470776
Summary
This pilot study tested whether a digital chatbot could provide helpful counseling to support young smokers trying to quit. Researchers enrolled 154 young smokers in Hong Kong to see if they would use the chatbot and stick with the program for six months. The goal was to check if this kind of digital tool is practical and acceptable, and to get an early look at whether it might help people stop smoking.
