Text buddy aims to fight loneliness for moms battling opioids

Summary
This study is adapting a text-message chatbot named Penny to provide support for pregnant and new mothers who have opioid use disorder. The goal is to see if having a 24/7 text-based companion can help reduce feelings of loneliness and help women stay engaged in their healthcare. Researchers will test the adapted chatbot, called COPILOT, with 20 women to see if it is easy to use, acceptable, and helpful.
