Summary

This study tests whether a smartphone chatbot that uses motivational interviewing can help high-risk drinkers reduce their alcohol intake. About 220 adults who want to drink less will use the app for four weeks, and their drinking will be compared to a control group. The goal is to see if the app leads to fewer drinks and less binge drinking over 16 weeks.
