Summary

This study tests a special afterschool program called CHAMP that helps children ages 5-8 improve their motor skills and become more physically active. About 264 kids from afterschool programs in Michigan will take part, with half doing CHAMP and half continuing their usual activities. The program runs for 19 weeks and focuses on building skills like throwing, kicking, and running in a supportive environment.
