First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looked at 23 people with head and neck cancer who were getting radiation therapy. Researchers measured a substance called CGRP in their blood to see if it changes during treatment and if it is linked to pain. The goal was to learn more about pain during radiation, not to test a new treatment.
