Researchers probe link between Mom's blood sugar and Baby's health risks

NCT ID NCT06892314

Summary

This study aimed to understand the connection between blood sugar control during pregnancy and health problems for newborns. Researchers looked back at data from 80 pregnant women with type 2 diabetes who used a continuous glucose monitor. They wanted to see if better blood sugar control was linked to fewer complications for the baby, like preterm birth or low blood sugar.
