This pilot study tested whether continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) could be used in preoperative clinics to help manage blood sugar in people with diabetes before surgery. Researchers placed CGMs on 22 adults during their preoperative visit and tracked accuracy compared to standard fingerstick tests.
