Can a simple device help bridge the diabetes care gap?
NCT ID NCT05766488
Summary
This study aims to see if continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) help low-income and uninsured adults with type 2 diabetes manage their condition better than traditional finger-prick meters. Researchers will enroll 50 patients with high blood sugar levels and follow them for six months. The goal is to understand the benefits and challenges of using CGMs in primary care clinics serving underserved communities.
