New monitor could transform diabetes care for kidney transplant patients
NCT ID NCT04783441
Summary
This study is testing whether continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) help kidney transplant patients with diabetes better control their blood sugar. Researchers will track 80 patients who recently received transplants to see if wearing a CGM device improves their time in the healthy blood sugar range. The goal is to reduce diabetes-related complications and hospital visits in this vulnerable population.
