Glucose monitors tested in teens to stop diabetes before it starts
NCT ID NCT07569185
First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether wearing a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) along with standard education can help 25 pre-diabetic teenagers (ages 13-17) improve their blood sugar control and adopt healthier habits. For the first 10 weeks, participants receive only education; for the next 10 weeks, they also wear a CGM. The goal is to see if the CGM helps prevent progression to type 2 diabetes.
