First seen Mar 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 06, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This pilot study tested whether a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) can help people with type 2 diabetes adjust their long-acting insulin more effectively than traditional fingerstick checks. Thirty adults already using basal insulin were followed for 18 weeks. The goal was to see if the CGM-based method improved time spent in a healthy blood sugar range.
