NCT ID NCT07357870
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This early-stage trial tests whether CGB-600 gel can safely reduce white patches from vitiligo on the face and neck. Thirty-six adults will apply the gel or a placebo twice daily for 24 weeks. Researchers will check for side effects and measure if the patches shrink by at least 50%.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could point toward a new topical treatment to help restore skin color in people with facial vitiligo.
What could go wrong
This is a very early Phase 1 study with only 36 people, so it may not show clear benefit. The gel could cause skin irritation or other side effects.
