First major study tracks CF mothers and babies through pregnancy and early years

NCT ID NCT06797206

Summary

This study aims to understand how pregnancy and early parenthood affect women with cystic fibrosis (CF) and how their children develop in early life. Researchers will observe 60 participants across three groups: women planning pregnancy or pregnant, their infants up to age 2, and children ages 3-6. The goal is to gather information to create better healthcare guidelines for CF families without providing any experimental treatments.
