C-Section repair showdown: lifting uterus out vs. leaving it in
NCT ID NCT07606846
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compares two common methods of repairing the uterus during a C-section: lifting the uterus out of the abdomen to stitch it, or leaving it inside. Researchers want to see which method causes less bleeding, less nausea, and a better experience for the mother. About 60 women having a C-section will be randomly assigned to one of the two techniques.
