Summary

This study tested a device that sends a mild electrical current through the head (called CES) to see if it reduces anxiety symptoms in young adults aged 18-21 with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). 130 participants used either the active device or a sham (fake) device for several weeks. Researchers measured anxiety changes using standard questionnaires to see if the treatment worked better than placebo.
