New study seeks better path for cervical cancer patients after radiation

NCT ID NCT07153952

Summary

This study aims to find better ways to monitor and treat a specific type of cervical cancer (adenocarcinoma) after patients complete initial radiation and chemotherapy. It will follow 60 patients to see if detailed imaging and tissue analysis can help doctors decide the best next step—like more local treatment or different drugs—if cancer remains. The goal is to improve long-term control of the disease.
