First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests whether a social media campaign called 'End Stigma End Fear, End Cervical Cancer' can reduce stigma and encourage Pap tests among 336 disadvantaged women (African descent or Latina, ages 18-70) in California and Trinidad. Researchers will measure changes in stigma and screening behavior after the campaign. The goal is to understand how stigma affects screening delays and find ways to overcome it.
