Researchers probe why women skip vital cancer Check-Ups

NCT ID NCT06182241

Summary

This study aims to understand why women living with HIV in South Africa, who are at high risk for cervical cancer, sometimes miss important follow-up medical appointments after an abnormal Pap smear. Researchers will interview patients and healthcare providers to identify barriers, then create and test a new support program designed to help women attend these critical visits. The goal is to develop better systems to keep women engaged in their cancer prevention care.
