New drug cocktail shows promise for Hard-to-Treat cancers

Summary

This early-phase study tests a new drug called ceralasertib, given by mouth, combined with standard chemotherapy or other cancer drugs. The goal is to find safe doses and check for side effects in 354 adults with advanced solid tumors that no longer respond to standard treatments. The study also looks at how the drug is absorbed and affects heart rhythm.
