New cell therapy trial aims to tame type 1 diabetes
NCT ID NCT05626712
Summary
This early-stage study is testing an experimental cell therapy called CELZ-201 in adults recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. The main goal is to see if the treatment is safe and if it can help the body produce its own insulin, potentially reducing the need for insulin injections. Researchers will compare a small group receiving the therapy to a group receiving standard diabetes care.
