First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding cellular, acellular, or matrix-like products (CAMPs) to standard wound care helps close diabetic foot and venous leg ulcers completely. 292 adults with nonhealing ulcers were randomly assigned to receive either standard care alone or standard care plus a CAMP. The main goal was to see which approach led to more ulcers fully healing.
