New cell therapy aims to shield patients from agonizing transplant side effect
NCT ID NCT07400328
Summary
This study is testing if a single infusion of a cell therapy called Amimestrocel can prevent severe, painful mouth sores in patients undergoing a stem cell transplant. About 22 adult patients in China will receive the infusion 1-2 days before their transplant. Researchers will monitor them closely to see if the treatment reduces the rate of severe sores and improves recovery.
