Summary

This study tests a new drug (DCSZ11) combined with short radiation and chemotherapy for people with a high-risk type of rectal cancer that hasn't spread. The goal is to shrink or eliminate the tumor before surgery, potentially avoiding the need for a permanent colostomy. About 30 adults will participate to see if the combination is safe and effective.
