Talking therapy tackles teen anxiety and sleeplessness together

Summary

This study tests whether group cognitive behavioral therapy can reduce both anxiety and insomnia in young people aged 12 to 20. About 171 teens with both conditions will attend therapy sessions focused on sleep or anxiety. The goal is to see if this talking therapy improves symptoms and daytime functioning without using medication.
