Can talk therapy help prisoners kick the habit?
NCT ID NCT06873009
Summary
This study is testing whether a short group therapy program can help men in prison quit smoking. Researchers will compare three approaches: a multi-session cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) program, a single health education session, and a waitlist group that gets no immediate help. The goal is to see which method is most effective at helping participants stop smoking and reduce their cravings.
