Summary
This study tests whether a structured behavioral therapy called CBIT can help children and teens aged 10–17 with chronic tics (Tourette syndrome or persistent tic disorder) gain better control over their symptoms. Participants receive 8 weekly CBIT sessions, learning to replace tics with competing movements. Researchers use brain scans and behavioral tracking to see who responds best and why.
